Review the rules for using the JKZ Network URL Shortener API, including authentication, rate limits, security, data use, and prohibited automation.

Last updated: August 02, 2026

These API Terms govern your access to and use of the developer application programming interface (API) provided by JKZ Network URL Shortener. By generating an API key or sending requests to our API, you agree to these terms.

1. API Access and Security

We provide API keys to authenticate requests. You are solely responsible for keeping your API keys secure. Do not share your API keys, commit them to public code repositories, or expose them in client-side code. You are responsible for all actions taken using your API credentials.

2. Rate Limits and Fair Use

To ensure system stability, security, and equal resource availability, we enforce rate limits on API requests based on your plan tier. You must not attempt to bypass these limits or send rapid, automated requests designed to stress-test or overload our servers.

3. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the JKZ Network URL Shortener API to:

  • Build products or services that scrape, harvest, or copy other users' public or private links or analytics.
  • Perform bulk link shortening or redirection operations for spam campaigns.
  • Distribute malware, host command-and-control links, or redirect to phishing pages.
  • Bypass account limits by distributing API keys across multiple unregistered users.

4. Service Level and Availability

The API is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. We reserve the right to modify, rate-limit, or suspend the API or specific endpoints at any time for maintenance, updates, or security reasons.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to revoke your API keys and terminate your developer access immediately if we detect patterns of abuse, system degradation, or violations of our Acceptable Use Policy.
