This Data Processing Addendum (DPA) applies to the processing of personal data by JKZ Network URL Shortener on behalf of our customers (Data Controllers) in connection with the provision of our SaaS tools.
1. Roles and Scope
When you shorten links, publish biolinks, or use analytics tracking, you act as the Data Controller, and JKZ Network URL Shortener acts as the Data Processor. We process visitor/end-user data (such as IP addresses, approximate geographic location, browser referrers, and visit timestamps) solely on your behalf and in accordance with your instructions (expressed through platform settings) to generate link tracking reports.
2. Security of Processing
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the personal data processed, including database encryption, transport layer security (HTTPS), system firewalls, and restricted administrative access. We do not claim SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certifications unless officially documented in our Security Policy.
3. Subprocessors
You authorize us to engage third-party subprocessors to provide infrastructure, database, email, AI model, and payment processing services. A list of current subprocessors can be requested from support. We ensure that our subprocessors are bound by data protection obligations that protect the data to the same standard.
4. Data Breaches
In the event of a confirmed security incident resulting in the unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure of personal data processed on your behalf, we will notify you without undue delay (typically within 72 hours) and cooperate to help mitigate potential impact.
5. Data Deletion and Portability
Upon termination of your account or plan, we will delete or anonymize your link tracking and visitor data in accordance with our data retention rules, unless otherwise required by applicable laws.
